Catholic Charities Serving Central Washington is currently recruiting for two Basic Needs Associate positions located in Union Gap, WA. This is a great service opportunity for an individual that is looking to make a positive impact by utilizing the Disaster Case Management Model to assist those affected by COVID-19 with matching resources to needs. The AmeriCorps member will be successful in these efforts by distributing clothing vouchers, toiletries, Kitchen Kits, discounted furniture, baby items, taking requests for monetary assistance, and serving as a bridge between the St. Vincent Centers and more supportive social service.

Position Duties:

• Assessing client needs using the Disaster Case Management Model
• Distributing items to help fill those needs
• Partnering with more supportive services to support clients with their recovery plan

Social Services knowledge preferred.

Minimum Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree
