Held in more than 600 communities nationwide, it is an annual event that rallies communities around one hope; a World without Alzheimer’s.
We are a volunteer-driven organization and looking for passionate individuals to serve on the Event Experience Committee for the 2022 Walk to End Alzheimer's - Indianapolis. The Walk Day-of Volunteer Coordinator is a great opportunity if you have experience with volunteer recruitment, training, and management.

The Volunteer Coordinator serves as the primary lead for all event day volunteers. The Coordinator ensures that all event day volunteers are recruited, trained, assigned and stewarded for an excellent Walk experience. - Work with the Event Experience Chair and staff partner to secure and train day-of-event volunteers for the Walk. Tools to do so include: recruitment flyer, volunteer survey, lists of past day-of volunteers, and training materials/recorded presentations.
- Outline the day-of volunteer schedule and assign out roles/shifts.
- Commit to participating in Event Experience meetings, the Walk to End Alzheimer’s event (October 1st at IUPUI's Carroll Stadium), and touch bases as needed with the Staff partner.
