We have a need for Client Services (reception) volunteers. Do you enjoy working directly with the diverse community and our unhoused neighbors? Do you have multi-tasking, confidentiality, paperwork and telephone skills? If yes, this position might be a perfect fit for you. As a reception volunteer you will be assigned to the following tasks:
- Maintain lobby area, and community board.
- Inform staff of appointments and visitors
- Work with clients to fill out appropriate paperwork
- Introduce new clients to our services and programs.
- Triage and refer clients to additional support when needed.
- Manage phone calls and take accurate messages
Client service volunteers have shift options Monday-Friday in the morning, or afternoon. We have volunteer openings on both days. Please contact Collin at volunteer@fishlinehelps.org or 360-208-0102 if you or someone you know are interested.

The dedication and commitment shown by all people connected to Fishline is remarkable!
Our small staff, over 200 volunteers, the board and clients all work to help their neighbors. Working to end homelessness, to provide food to all who need it, to assist in moving people from survival to sustainable success is the heart of Fishline. We also work to keep the dreams of children alive by providing birthday parties and presents when parents can’t make this happen on their own. We feed children on the weekends with our backpack program, and provide emergency clothing. This is some of the work that supports our Mission, Vision and Values.
