The Lumiere Gala (formerly Fleur de Lis Ball) is an exciting annual event to raise awareness and funds to support the vital programs and services at Marillac St. Vincent Family Services. This evening of dinner, drinks, dancing, live and silent auctions, and an exciting paddle raise generate hundreds of thousands of dollars for our programs. This year's event will be held on Thursday evening, May 1st, 2025 at the Bridgeport Art Center, right on the Chicago River.
SET-UP VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO PREPARE EVENT SPACE. We are seeking 10-15 people to assist with load-in, setting tables, placing signage and floral arrangements, arranging/staging auction items, and moving/staging all other event material. *** GROUPS WELCOME! If you have friends or are part of a group that would like to help, please share this opportunity with them!***
EVENT VOLUNTEERS
Event/Evening volunteers will be provided with an early catered dinner at 4:30, prior to required training on the technology/tablets. Doors open to guests at 6:00; there will be a 5:00 VIP reception for our honorees, sponsors, and special guests. Event volunteers will assist with guest registration/check-in, greeting and directing guests, selling raffle tickets and assisting with the silent auction, spotting bidders during the paddle raise, checking guests out, and making our donors feel welcome and comfortable during the evening.
