Help A Woman Affected By ALS With Cleaning & Meal Prep This Summer!

A 43-year-old woman living with ALS would love your help with cleaning and meal prep! She would like someone to visit at least once every other week: once a week would be even better. Afternoons work best with her schedule, and she anticipates the needed tasks taking 2-3 hours to complete each time. She does have 2 dogs and 2 cats in her home.
This is a SUMMER opportunity (early May-late August): the family has a student volunteer who helps out during the school year, but they're seeking another person to assist them during the months when she returns home.

Description
What is ALS?
ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) is a degenerative disease of the central nervous system. ALS results in the progressive weakness of voluntary muscles which often leads to total paralysis. There is no known cause or cure for ALS. People with ALS typically live between two and five years after being diagnosed.
How does The ALS Association help?
We fulfill our mission by offering programs, services, and equipment free of charge to anyone affected by ALS residing in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
