HOPE Tutoring offers free, individualized tutoring to low-income students in Arlington, Texas, in grades 2-8.
We currently need Spanish speaking volunteers in two capacities.
We need volunteers who can proof our Spanish enrollment forms, flyers and handbooks to ensure proper translation. This activity can be done remotely.
We also need volunteers who can serve as a translator at student recruiting events. This activity would vary in location and times. We are seeking volunteers for a pool of translators who can work these events when their schedules allow. We typically hold 6-8 of these events per year.

H.O.P.E.'s mission is to empower 3rd-8th graders to reach their full academic potential through free, individualized tutoring.
H.O.P.E. is a community-wide, non-profit organization that partners with local churches, public libraries, and Arlington ISD, which provide facilities for our volunteers to tutor elementary and junior high students during the school year. We also offer virtual tutoring. During the summer, H.O.P.E. offers summer camps focused on math, reading, science, computers and music.
