Cat Rescue Programs Coordinator

ORGANIZATION: Karma Cat + Zen Dog Rescue Society

Our Programs Team is looking to recruit a Programs Coordinator to help maintain organization for our 3 programs - Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) for feral cats, Outreach events, and Volunteer onboarding.

Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact to respond to all incoming requests across our 3 programs using our templates
  • Track progress of current programs and keep electronic project documents up to date
  • Maintain and file digital records
  • Volunteer at our Adoption Center at least 1 time a month to stay up to date with process
Qualifications
  • Highly organized with an acute attention to detail
  • Solid computer literacy (Google Suite a plus but not required)
  • Comfortable working independently while also being a team-player
  • Resourcefulness and not afraid to ask questions

The mission of the Karma Cat & Zen Dog Rescue Society is to provide a safe and peaceful haven for homeless, abandoned or abused animals. We will help decrease the number of cats and dogs being destroyed in kill shelters through the work of our adoption, trap-neuter-return, and education programs. The vision of the Karma Cat & Zen Dog Rescue Society is a world where every companion animal is respected, fed, warm, happy, and not in danger of being killed because it is temporarily homeless.
