1 Powerhouse is looking for 200 great mentors that enjoy working with youth from different demographics.
This will include working in different school settings with Dekalb County and Gwinnett county schools as well as various Recreational centers around metro atlanta
The main focus of the Gems and Gents Youth Group is to reach Males and females ages 8-18 and to instill in them high moral values, a self of pride, and self-esteem.

Description
- Help people gain access to permanent housing
- Utilize Family Promise shelters as a short term program to triage, assess and stabilize families and individuals in crisis.
- Utilize our case management and expand our prevention programs to help people live as independently as possible.
- Develop innovative programs to reduce the need for emergency systems of care in the community.
- Build alliances with affordable housing providers and other organizations that serve homeless individuals and families.
