Doors of Change is a 501-C-3 organization that has helped over 15,000 Homeless Youth since 2001. 2300 have gotten off the streets into safe housing. We have an award winning music & art program that develope's TRUST quickly with Homeless Youth. When a youth trusts you, they ask for help. Our case manager gets them all the resources they need. We are helping record numbers of Homeless Youth during COVID 19.
Our Concert of Hope staring Grammy nominated THREE DOG NIGHT is our main fundraiser of the year. It will be outside at the beautiful Moonlight Amphitheater in Vista on Thursday June 30. We need volunteers for pre Concert help of assisting to get auction items, put up posters about the concert and day of concert at our VIP Party (before the concert). Help is needed with registration, for silent & live auction, raise the paddle, check out, and clean up. All volunteers will be given a lawn seat with a chair after you are finished with all your work to see the concert.
We will be meeting at Miltons Restaurant in Del Mar on Wednesday May 25 at 5:45pm for a dinner meeting. Milton's has offered a 25% discount. Please RSVP at jeffrey@doorsofChange.org. Description
Doors of Change (DOC), also known as Photocharity has helped save over 1800 homeless San Diego Homeless Youth in long term safe housing for more then 14 years. It's award winning "Taking Music & Arts to the Streets" program for homeless youth ages 12-24 creates trust and empowerment. We have seen over 1900 homeless youth for free music & art lessons over the past 30 months. The DOC Housing program for self sufficiency is a 2 year program that will give youth skills to get a job, maintain a job, and have savings. It brings hope and opportunity for homeless youth to get off the streets permanently. It includes training and instruction in life skills and trades, case management, group and individual therapy, home cooked meals, music and art classes with the goal of solving permanently their homelessness.
