The Surgical Services Volunteer will comfortably and confidently interact with patients/visitors in the Surgical Services Department, providing updated information on their scheduled surgery (scheduled time, delays, progress). These volunteers focus on providing an atmosphere of comfort and support in Pre-Op/Post-Op areas. These volunteers must be comfortable supporting patients/visitors in the pre-op and post-op areas. Patients' privacy must be respected at all times.
