Our Community Compost Collections at the San Mateo Farmers' Market allows folks to divert their compostable food waste into gardening compost to grow nourishing fruits and vegetables! Volunteering will consist of assisting with compost collections, so please be prepared for strong smells and wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.
San Mateo Compost Collections take place EVERY OTHER Saturday from 8:30am-12:30pm at the San Mateo Farmers' Market. Volunteers must fill out an application/wavier first (https://www.tfaforms.com/5151284) and then reserve the specific date that they want to volunteer on Eventbrite (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/san-mateo-farmers-market-compost-volunteer-voluntariado-de-abono-organico-tickets-1118279115939?aff=oddtdtcreator).

Nuestro programa de colecciones de abono orgánico permite a la gente desviar sus residuos de alimentos compostables en abono orgánico de jardinería para cultivar frutas y verduras nutritivas!
