PET THERAPY OPPORTUNITY!! Our pet therapy program brings smiles to our patients who are on hospice care. We are seeking friendly, therapy certified pets and owners who would love to visit our patients and bring a little JOY to their day! We serve patients all over the Metro area. Description

We offer Home Health and Hospice services all over the nation. I am the Volunteer Coordinator for the Norman, Moore and South OKC metro area. I am looking for compassionate people willing to give of their time. Our hospice patients love when a volunteer can come visit with them. Our caregivers/family members sometimes need to do errands or have time by themselves. Our volunteers are ready and willing to be with our patients during this time. We have other kinds of opportunities as well, such as a Pet Therapy program!   • The time commitment is up to the volunteer. A volunteer can visit a few patients an hour a month or 4 hours (or more) a month, it's totally up to the volunteer's schedule.
  • We offer an orientation, TB testing, Fingerprint check, which are all paid for by Traditions Health. Other compliance issues and paperwork apply.
