Support the Diabetes Foundation's Tribute to Diabetes Heroes Event on May 24, 2022! The event will run from 6:30-8:30 PM and volunteers are asked to assist with set and clean-up from 5-9 PM at the Overpeck Park Ampitheater in Ridgefield Park, NJ.

Volunteer responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with guest check-in and fundraising items
  • Set-up and clean up of tables, chairs, trash, supplies/posters, etc.
  • Other responsibilities as needed
  • Must be comfortable interacting with guests and talking about the work of the Diabetes Foundation (speaking points/brief training) will be provided prior to event

DF serves people living with Type 1, Type 2 and gestational diabetes within the state of New Jersey. Our support services provide children and adults with necessary resources to help navigate this chronic disease which is impacting 1 in 12 people in our state.
