BUDDYs are a vital part of the success of the League of YES. Each League of YES player is assigned a BUDDY for each game. The BUDDY is there to protect the player from balls, assist the player in batting and running the bases, and to be a friend on and off the field. Once you participate, you see that being a BUDDY allows you not only to make a difference in a special child’s life, but also to create a positive awareness in yourself. And, you will find that being a BUDDY is a lot of fun!
Covid protocols are followed. All activity is outdoors. If anyone is not fully vaccinated, they must wear a mask when in close proximity to other players.

Our objective is to provide an opportunity for those individuals to experience the joy and benefits that come from playing our national pastime. Our aim is to help the league’s players develop social skills and increase self esteem, while promoting community support and sponsorship for the league. We believe everyone deserves the chance to play baseball!

- Must be at least 14
- We are looking for BUDDYs for most Saturdays from the end of April through mid-June. Volunteers can come one, two, or as many dates as they are available.
