Strengthen and sustain your community through a service day with older adult neighbors.
Join A Little Help in caring for our older adult neighbors by volunteering for A Little Help's Spring Service Saturday! 2022. Registration is now open. Older adult members offer their home and yards as opportunities for volunteers to assist with seasonal tasks; such as planting, preparing gardens, raking leaves, pulling weeds, washing windows, moving yard furniture into place for the season, seasonal cleaning & organizing, and more...all while enjoying meeting and spending time together. Service Saturday! is an intergenerational event and includes families, students, neighbors, corporate groups, clubs, and schools.
Following each Service Saturday! event, plan on a little celebration of our new friends and all our completed tasks at our signature Service Saturday! Celebrations. Your team will work up an appetite so the Service Saturday! Celebration will be the perfect opportunity to join other volunteers for food, drink, social time and a few fun activities - AND your first drink is on us!

Mission Statement
A Little Help is a nonprofit organization that connects neighbors of all ages to help older adults thrive in their homes and in their communities.
Description
A Little Help connects volunteers with older adults to help them with tasks like yardwork, transportation, and errand running to help them age well in their homes. We serve older adults in Metro Denver/Jefferson County, Fort Collins and Berthoud/Loveland, and in the Western Slope.
A Little Help is based on the Village Model in which local resources and people of all ages are brought together to benefit both older adult members and the greater community. Sharing talents, resources and building intergenerational relationships allow older adults to age safely and thrive in their homes. Studies have shown that those who live longer, healthier lives have close relationships with their neighbors and continually find new purpose as they age.
