Active Me and You (AMY) needs your help to collect vital things for our homeless community members who are living under trees, in dry banana leaf tents, and need to move into more permanent accommodation!
When members of our program move into long-term housing, they are frequently starting from zero. Each member of Active me and you (AMY) receives a New Home Basket. These baskets contain approximately 25 necessary household things to assist them in getting started in the correct path (for example, a laundry basket, dishes, cooking pots/pans/utensils, all-purpose cleansers, and so on).
We can offer each member with a New Home Basket with your help collecting and preparing items. For a complete list of Welcome Basket goods, go to www.activemeandyou.org
Please email volunteer@activemeandyou.org to organize a donation drop off once the baskets are ready.
