Join us for a 4-day virtual youth development conference, Monday, June 27 - Thursday June 30, 2022, with the American Red Cross Northern California Coastal Region. This year's Leadership Development Center has been modified to still provide opportunities for youth ages 13-18 to develop and cultivate core leadership skills such as teamwork, public speaking and diversity awareness, all while adapting to current social distancing practices.

Through presentations and small group discussions, LDC delegates will participate in workshops on Red Cross topics including disaster preparedness, diversity, international services and more. We hope to build an understanding of our communities while we are a part of camp and to help participants become young leaders.

The cost of camp has been adjusted to $250.00.

If you are entering grades 9-12 and interested in learning new skills and meeting Red Cross youth, apply today!

Apply by May 15, 2021 to reserve your spot.

Mission Statement

The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.

Every single day, the American Red Cross helps people in emergencies. Whether its one displaced family, thousands of disaster victims, or providing care and comfort to an ill or injured service member or veteran or support to a military family member, our vital work is made possible by people like you. It is through the time and care of ordinary people that we can do extraordinary things.
