Join us for a rewarding volunteer opportunity to prepare and serve a delicious meal for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House! This hands-on experience is wonderful for team building with your colleagues, a meaningful activity for school groups (ages 12+), a way to connect with your church or civic group, or even a unique and impactful way to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, or any gathering of up to 6 people. Our Chef will handle meal planning, ordering ingredients, preparing for your group’s arrival, and guiding you along the way. At the end of the event, your group will have helped prepare a home-cooked meal for our guest families and stock our fridge with grab-and-go options for the week.

Description
Ronald McDonald House Charities, a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) corporation, creates, finds and supports programs that directly improve the health and well being of children. Its grassroots-driven programs offer help where children need it most - right in their own communities. RMHC makes an immediate, positive impact on children's lives through its global network of local Chapters in 52 countries and regions and its three core programs: the Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Family Room and Ronald McDonald Care Mobile. These programs provide a bridge to accessible health care and allow families more time together, which helps in the healing process. RMHC and its global network of local Chapters also have hundreds of millions of dollars in grants and program services to children's programs around the world.

REQUIREMENTS
- This is a Done in a Day opportunity and there is no prior training or ongoing commitment needed.
- Must be at least 18
- 2:30-5:30pm
- All volunteers age 18 years and older are required to bring a license to scan into our visitor Kiosk when they arrive. Volunteers must be 12 years and older to volunteer alongside a parent and/or guardian.
