Brookdale Hospice serves individuals who are terminally ill, throughout the SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

BE APART OF A TEAM OF HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS, providing compassionate and Supportive Care as a Volunteer:
OFFICE SUPPORT VOLUNTEER-Work in the Placentia Office to provide Administrative Support to Staff
BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT VOL. - Work with Bereavement Coordinator to provide grief support to families
PATIENT CARE VOL. - "Provide Socialization and Companionship Visits
VETERAN TO VETERAN VOLUNTEER VISITS-Share life review about your experiences
NO ONE DIES ALONE-Vigil Volunteers to sit with patient who is transitioning
STUDENT INTERNSHIPS AVAILABLE...shadow visits with NP's, RN's, MSW's, Music Therapists and Chaplains. Hands on learning shadowing the professionals.
Brookdale Hospice provides comprehensive training, support and events to recognize your service.

We are currently serving patients and families throughout Los Angeles, Orange County and the Inland Empire. Please contact us today for more information!
Riverside Community Hospice & Family Care is an ancillary service under HCA Healthcare and is certified by Medicare. Part of the Medicare Conditions of Participation is to offer and provide volunteer services to the terminally ill patients and families that we serve. Volunteer services can be direct (interacting directly with the patient and families) and indirect (working in the office, administrative duties).
Brookdale Hospice provides a comprehensive orientation and training program prior to your volunteer experience. Applicants must complete a background check, drug screen, and TB screening (at the cost of Brookdale Hospice). A full application and reference check will be completed as well.

Volunteers must be 18 years or older. 16 to 18 year old volunteers can help in the office.
