Bridge Hospice is looking for volunteers who find joy in sewing, knitting, quilting and crafting. As a Crafting Volunteer you will have the opportunity to make much needed sensory blankets for our patients whom have dementia. These blankets help stimulate our patients and help calm them. We are also looking for volunteers to sew Memory Bears. These bears are made from articles of clothing of our patients that have passed. The bears are given to the families so that they have something physical to remember their loved one by. Here at Bridge Hospice our patients, their families and their needs are very important to us. If you have a heart to do something for those that are dealing with terminal ills and their families please reach out to learn more.
