The Uhuru N2U Volunteer Brigade is looking for volunteers to help grow the programs of the Black Power Blueprint!
Are you a photographer or videographer, wanting to contribute your skills back to the community? There are several exciting events that need to be captured! Can you take photos or video at special events?
We need you!
Uhuru is a swahili word that means freedom! The Black Power Blueprint programs are transforming North St. Louis through renovation, economic development and political power by and for the black community.
The Black Power Blueprint programs in St. Louis include the Gary Brooks Community Garden, the One Africa! One Nation! Farmers Market, the African Doula Project, the African Independence Workforce Program, the Uhuru Community Basketball Court and much more. All of these programs are designed to address disparities faced by the African community in health, education and economic development.
You will be helping to revitalize and rejuvenate a once thriving Black/African Community. Come join us and have a great time doing some vitally important work. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
