ORGANIZATION: Oasis Institute

  • 4 people are interested

Oasis is a national non-profit organization. Located in Bethesda, MD, the Washington Metropolitan Oasis center is a thriving place where adults over 50 come for lifelong learning and productive aging classes. The Program Committee is instrumental in bringing high-level, high-quality classes to our participants.

Do you have ideas for new and exciting programs? Do you have a network of contacts and/or are you willing to reach out to people with interesting experiences and knowledge to share? Do you want to roll up your sleeves and help plan future programs?

This is a hands-on committee. You will participate in a monthly Committee meeting to brainstorm new program ideas. Between meetings, you will research ideas and presenters, contact potential speakers, and may also help draft program descriptions and speaker bios.
