The Collections Intern will work directly with the Curator of Collections and Exhibits in the day-to-day operations of the museum collection. This role includes data entry, filing, digital scanning, cataloging, as well as working in storage areas and rehousing collections objects. The intern will learn to use CatalogIT, the Museum’s collections management program. Interns will also play a role in crafting their own agenda, with a focus on topics and activities that may interest the individual.

In addition, this position will introduce students to the opportunities that exist for a career in public history and museum management.
