Currently we are seeking volunteers to help as Gallery Guardians, and to facilitate as guides to our new Dimensions in Testimony℠ exhibition, as well as to fill other roles, such as: Helping with check-in during in-person programs and special events, photography at programs/special events, project research, phone outreach, and clerical duties. The Museum is open on to the public Tuesdays - Sundays 10:00 am - 5:00 pm, (with our last visitor admission at 4:00 pm). Additional information is also available on our website at: https://www.flholocaustmuseum.org/. Volunteers may sign up for morning or afternoon schedules after a completed background check for adults. This is a nominal fee of $15.89. Student volunteers do not need a background check but instead will fill out a parent permission form.

Mission Statement

The FHM honors the memory of millions of innocent men, women and children who suffered or died in the Holocaust. The Museum is dedicated to teaching members of all races and cultures to recognize the inherent worth and dignity of human life in order to prevent future genocides.

Description

The FHM was founded as a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation in 1990. The organization's goal is to promote awareness of the dangers of prejudice, hatred and violence, the most insidious ills besetting contemporary society.
