Youth empowerment program that teaches life skills through performing arts, looking for program advocates and passionate community members who care about youth education, and mental health and/or the arts. We meld social emotional learning with the performing arts betiding strong confident youth that care about the world around them and learn skills they can use onstage and beyond!
This is an unpaid position (less than part time most likely) BUT I will gladly contribute a Letter of recommendation, testimonial or raving review if it is a good fit! Great resume building opportunity!
Required: Proficient in English (written and oral communication), stable internet, computer access, familiar with basics of Microsoft office and google docs, reliable with excellent communication skills and an dependable and most of all a sense of humor and ability to have fun and take joy in the little details!
Candidates may receive an email regarding a zoom meeting to learn more about the program and the job!
If you have a resume, feel free to attach it or anything relevant experience.
Not for someone who: doesn't like a sense of humor, doesn't like kids, isn't willing to reach out to contacts and families to support the cause, doesn't like to be a collaborator and brainstorm together.
No formal board experience? No worries! Lets grow together!

Beyond the Stage Youth is a workshop based youth empowerment program that teaches life and social emotional learning skills through performing arts!
Dedicated to empowering youth through theatrical workshops, we are passionate about creating confident, capable, resilient lifelong learners... Onstage and Beyond!
We empower young people by promoting Social Emotional Learning and life skills through FUN in-person theatre workshops and class based curriculum support.
