Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County is seeking volunteers to aid with being the first point of contact between applicants and the hiring managers.

This can be done REMOTELY in a few hours per week with a phone and computer. Are you an experienced recruiter looking to give back? Volunteer a few hours each week to Habitat PBC and help our community grow stronger.

volunteer virtually between the hours of 8am and 8pm EST

Ideal volunteers will:

• have prior experience with office 365 (but totally trainable)
• have a cell phone that you are willing to use a mobile application on for the telephone system (or you can use a laptop or table)
• prior experience with customer service or making outbound calls
• have a computer to access web-based applications

• Recruit and screen candidates for employment.
• Coordinating schedules with applicants and interviewers, sending interview confirmations, and reviewing job board resume submission
• Assist hiring managers to fill open job requisitions
• Track and report communication with applicants
• Work and form relationships with internal management teams to know the ins and outs of their departments and better understand their hiring needs and job specifications.
• Maintain a database of candidate records, including active and passive prospects, hired, and fired employees.
• Follow up on interview process status and update records in the internal database.

• Screening, Recruiting, and interviewing skills
• Working knowledge of video conferences and phone interviews
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of MS Office 365 suite and ability to work independently
