Denver Day of Rock is a FREE music festival presented by Amp the Cause that unites the community in an effort to raise funds and awareness for the local organizations we support. We’re looking for volunteers to help all across the streets of LoDo and make this event a huge success!
We will need folks to help out with setting up in the morning and in a variety of roles during a day or evening shift, more details below.
Day Shift: 11:30 AM-5 PM: Info booth, community mural monitor
Evening Shift: 4:30-9:30 PM: Info booth, community mural monitor

Mission Statement
Amp the Cause is a Denver-based nonprofit organization that improves the lives of families through entertainment, annual events and community service projects. We raise critical health and education funds, generate awareness of local charities, use monetary and in-kind donations to help children with life-threatening illnesses, and provide opportunities for kids to participate in educational programs in a safe and healthy environment.
Description
Amp the Cause was founded in 2004 by Christie and Walter Isenberg based on the belief that all children should be entitled to the best healthcare available and to receive a quality education. Initial efforts focused on raising funds through an annual concert with monies raised donated to selected non-profit organizations such as Children’s Hospital Colorado and Denver Public Schools.
Today Amp the Cause helps to support over 50 child-focused organizations annually through its fundraising events and community service projects. These events include Denver Day of Rock, Community Day, Holiday’s For Kids and Celebrity Waiter.
Since its inception, Amp the Cause has distributed more than $7 million in monetary and in-kind donations to our beneficiaries.
