Deaconess Hospice of Biloxi invites Veteran and Active Service members to volunteer with us! At Deaconess Hospice, we strive to match Veteran Hospice Patients with volunteers who may share common experiences. When Military Service Members and Veterans interact, common language and experiences can form a strong relational bond. Your involvement in the hospice team can be a personally rewarding and emotionally meaningful experience. Examples of patient support from volunteers range from reminiscing and telling life stories, to spearheading veteran patient recognition pinning ceremonies.
