Positive Planet in the US is a non-profit organization created 23 years ago by Jacques Attali, French economist, author and professor, whose mission is to make the world more positive economically, socially, environmentally and democratically. We are helping underserved communities, independent of their color, gender or background, to create their own jobs through entrepreneurship. The impact is huge and real: 11 million of Beneficiaries all across the globe since creation.

Positive Planet has expanded to the United States. We are forming a new diverse team of volunteers with a mission to give the underprivileged the means to become entrepreneurs and create a positive economy.

Job Responsibilities:

• Write, edit and publish content for social media
• Post social media posts to promote the organization and its current initiatives
• Brainstorm with the Marketing team for new ideas and strategies for engaging content
• Establish content style guidelines to ensure consistency, tone, and quality of work
• Provide editorial support where needed

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience;
• Excellent communication and writing skills in English
• Creativity and the ability to develop quality content
• Strong digital journalism skills and social media experience
• Expertise with using SEO best practices to write creative copy that includes effective keyword placement
• Basic technical knowledge of MS Office and WordPress
• Advanced copywriting skills
• Strong time management skills

Availability: 15+ hours per week.
