Boulder Valley ICO is an all-volunteer outings program of the Sierra Club that provides free nature outings and wilderness adventures for children and families who wouldn't have these opportunities any other way. We are looking for help in bring native culture alive for our participants by educating our volunteers about the ways that native culture used and protected natural resources in the areas we visit to survive and thrive in these places. We're also interested learning the more recent human history of these places, particularly co-existence between or conflict with Anglo-European settlers.
