These second Saturday of every month fundraiser sales support our mission to re-home, recycle and reuse plants and supplies. Wear comfortable clothes, bring gardening gloves if you have them, a water bottle, sun protection, and enthusiasm for our mission. No previous knowledge or experience necessary. We provide snacks. Thank you!

The Plant Exchange mission is to promote sustainable gardening practices, reduce landfill waste, educate people about environmental justice, and bring our community together over a common love of gardening. We seek to unite people of all ages and backgrounds and promote the personal health and community benefits that gardening provides.
Description
The Plant Exchange is a nonprofit environmental organization that has served Oakland and the Bay Area for over 15 years. As of 2023, we closed our warehouse and are operating pop-up sales and plant exchanges across the Bay Area where we have occasional volunteer opportunities
