Community Hospice serves hundreds of patients every day and depends on fundraisers & the community for donations to support our care programs and patients, regardless of their resources or severity of their illnesses.

Taste of Heaven is our annual Reverse Raffle fundraiser which will be held on Facebook Live on August 27th, 2022.

Fundraising Volunteer Description:
This volunteer role will assist with fundraising efforts to increase awareness, sell raffle tickets and grow our community of donors & sponsorships for our annual Taste of Heaven fundraiser. The objective is to spread our message and encourage our supporters to buy raffle tickets, sponsor or make donations towards the event.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with staff & other volunteers on Taste of Heaven and fundraising efforts.
* Work with the fundraising team to prospect and solicit sponsorships and donations.
* Help increase communications with supporters and current donors.
* Sell raffle tickets for both reverse raffle and side raffles.
* Attend meetings once a month in the Stark County Community Hospice office.

* Ability to build strong relationships with new people, businesses, and organizations.
* Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
* Works well independently and proactively as part of an amazing volunteer team.
