Compassionate Care is looking for volunteers who are interested in going in patient homes and nursing facilities to provide companionship, respite for caregivers and other services for our patients and their families. We will work with your skills, abilities and comfort-zone to ensure the best opportunities for you. As a company, we know your time is valuable as a volunteer and we are willing to work with your schedule. You may volunteer as little or as much as you want! We are currently on the search for volunteers in around any of the following counties: Banks, Barrow, Clarke, DeKalb, Elbert, Franklin, Greene, Gwinnett, Hall, Hart, Jackson, Madison, Morgan, Oglethorpe, Putnam Walton, & Wilkes.

Mission Statement
Compassionate Care Hospice in Athens gives patients facing a terminal illness the freedom to live each day to its fullest by offering comfort, dignity, quality of life and time. The Hospice Volunteers are a special group of people who give their time and talents to assist patients, their families and the CCH team. Volunteers can assist in the office and in the homes of families. We are in need of volunteers to join on our team! Compassionate Care Hospice is located at 1061 Dowdy Rd, Suite 206 in Athens, Ga. We proudly serve the following counties: Banks, Barrow, Clarke, DeKalb, Elbert, Franklin, Greene, Gwinnett, Hall, Hart, Jackson, Madison, Morgan, Oconee, Oglethorpe, Putnam, Walton & Wilkes. Compassionate Care Hospice in Athens gives patients facing a terminal illness the freedom to live each day to its fullest by offering comfort, dignity, quality of life and time. We work in close coordination with the patient, their family and doctor to deliver high-quality hospice care, and we’re here for them around the clock. We are blessed and humbled to be part of each patient’s journey and will treat them and their loved ones with the highest respect.
