Missing Pieces Support Group Texas' social media work trade is an ideal opportunity for someone who is interested in learning about building community through a variety of different social media tools.
EXPECTATIONS: M/SM Leads commit to supporting at least one social media platform for a minimum of 3 months and report to the President . M/SM Leads commit to volunteer for ~12 hrs per month (3hrs/week) to fulfill the required need.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Promotion of Missing Pieces Support Group Texas' mission and upcoming events
- Social Media Content Creation and Execution: Analyze what’s missing and be proactive in creating content to fill in the gaps. Create and manage an editorial calendar for Instagram and any other channels you want to take on.
- Storytelling and Public Relationship: Leverage Instagram stories to help us engage with our followers! Get creative with fun activities/member features etc
- Analytics and Metrics: Track & analyze social media success monthly using simple tracking tools. Research and recommend methods for garnering more followers for Impact Hub Houston. Review our Facebook/Twitter/IG/LinkedIn pages to see what content has the highest engagement metrics from the past three months and provide recommendations to the Marketing team.
- Ensure brand consistency through all marketing channels
- References from board members to put on your resume going forward

Description
I'm Jamilah Robinson. My fellow board members, Emily Gamboa, Jescikia Sam, Crystal Boykin and I are seeking your support in a venture we hold near and dear to our hearts.
We are a group of women who have experienced pregnancy losses ranging from first term miscarriages to stillborns. We know the emotional and physical toll that this type of loss carries and have committed to helping others in this situation by founding a non-profit organization: Missing Pieces Support Group.
Our mission is to bring awareness to pregnancy loss by providing informational resources; to form a mindful community that bridges the gap for similar support services, and to provide a platform that gives families the opportunity to share their stories online.
