Be the friendly face that welcomes visitors to Joshua Tree National Park!
Visitor Service Representative (VSR) volunteers provide friendly, energetic assistance to visitors at Joshua Tree Visitor Center in the town of Joshua Tree, CA . VSRs provide map orientation, hiking information, park literature, safety information, and information on natural and cultural resources. VSRs will also operate gift shop cash register for sales and answer phones to provide information. Work may be conducted inside the visitor center or outside at an information table, weather permitting.
Applicants must enjoy working with the public and live within 60 minutes of the town of Joshua Tree. Volunteer must be able to work through at least July 7th, 2022 including holidays. Volunteer position may be extended if the volunteer is still interested and available.
Local recruitment only - no housing or camping available.
Applicant must be available for at least one of five weekly shifts:
