Are you someone with lived experience that would like to serve as a peer support? Peer supports are individuals with "lived experience" who have been trained to support those who struggle with mental health, psychological trauma, or substance use. Their personal experience of these challenges provides peer support specialists with expertise that professional training cannot replicate.
Our organization is 100% volunteer run and we need as many people to help support the clients we serve. Your schedule is dependent upon your discretion. Knowledge of psych abbreviations and documentation, is a plus.
areas of focus for support: grief support, trauma informed support for survivors of sexual /domestic violence, mental health challenges
