The City of Upland is excited to celebrate our annual Spring Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 19th! This Egg-cellent family-friendly event will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Memorial Park, Upland and will include egg hunts, games, activities, Bunny photos, and more!
Here is a list of times and shifts available. You can also work partial shift, just let us know the hours you plan to attend. Please let us know at check-in if you plan to stay longer or if you arrive at a different time:
Entire Event | 7:00AM - 1:00PM (6.0-hours): Some of the areas that we need help with during the duration of the event includes the Kids Fun Zone, Photo Booth, Crafts, and Storytime with the Upland Library.
Set-Up Crew | 7:00AM - 10:00AM (3-hours): Duties include general event set up, hanging signs, and decorations.
Teardown Crew | 10:00AM-1:00PM (3-hours): Duties include helping with the removal of decorations, clearing, and cleaning tables, making sure supplies are packed away and resetting the facility.
Bunny Crew | 9:00AM-12:00PM (3-hours): Duties include helping team with bunny photos and line control.
Game & Craft Crew | 8:30AM-12:30PM (4-hours): Duties include helping with participants with crafts, decorating treats, and assisting them in the bouncers.
Participants interested in receiving service credit for school or work, must sign-in and sign-out. Verification forms should be submitted at check-in and will be ready at check-out. If you do not have one, we will have a form available. Make sure your Volunteer Verification form has your name, phone number and the school/agency name. Failure to check-out will result in no-credit. Participants who choose to not follow rules, behave unsafely or disrespectful, will be asked to leave and receive no-credit.
Comfortable, jeans, sneakers or sturdy comfortable shoes are recommended. Please wear closed-toe shoes; no flip flops, or heel/platforms. Layered clothing, hast and/or sunglasses are suggested at your discretion. Volunteers are encouraged to wear festive attire that matches our event theme, business casual, or semi-formal attire, if desired. Check-in with Roshanna Dotson at the City of Upland booth. Parking is available adjacent to the park (North Field). Enter the park from Foothill & Hospital Pkwy behind the YMCA.

Description
EMPRCO links community leaders and youth to opportunities that provide professional growth. Helps local youth gain valuable work experience and community service credit. Volunteers are never charged to participate in service projects. Adults may be required to provide fingerprints prior to volunteering based on agency policies.

- This is a Done in a Day opportunity and there is no prior training or ongoing commitment needed.
- Must be at least 16
- Anytime between 7:00AM to 1:30PM. Just let us know the times you are interested in participating.
