Description
YMCA of Greater Houston and AARP Foundation Experience Corps are teaming up to bring an evidence-based program to the community that connects young students in kindergarten through third grade with trained adult volunteers age 50 and older who tutor them in literacy and help build their reading confidence. As an affiliate of the Experience Corps program, YMCA of Greater Houston is seeking volunteers to help tutor and mentor students who are a part of the Greater Houston community and attend its Community Enrichment Centers.
