ORGANIZATION: Parents Helping Parents

This online parenting support group is for parents that are working with the Department of Children and Family Services. The facilitator will a safe space for parents to come together with other parents that are working through their action plans in hopes for reunification with their children. The groups are anonymous and confidential. The group day and time is flexible upon the facilitator's schedule.

Requirements:

  • Must demonstrate an understanding of stressors within a family that could potentially trigger child abuse and/or neglect
  • Pass a Cori

Commitment:

  • 12 hours of online training via Zoom.
  • Willingness to submit attendance report quarterly

Parents Helping Parents (PHP) is the leader in free, high-quality, evidence-based, and trauma-informed emotional support services for parents. We are based in Massachusetts, but receive calls from all across the United States.

PHP provides parental support services through our Parent Stress Line and Support Groups. All services are free, anonymous, confidential, and accessible. We welcome any person seeking support in caring for a child with a specific focus on families involved with the Department of Children and Families (DCF).
