ORGANIZATION: Idealist.org

Recruiting Organization: The Brave House

Our internship program offers students and early-career professionals a unique opportunity to develop in their careers by supporting immigrant women and gender-expansive youth in NYC. Our team members gain insights into non-profit management and social justice work while making key contributions towards our mission.

We ask our interns to commit 8-10 hours per week, depending on availability.

Internships at The Brave House are unpaid. We are happy to work with colleges to offer class credit or with our team members to find third-party funding for their internships.

We encourage all to apply and welcome those from any and all gender expressions. The Brave House does not discriminate in its selection practices, and in order to build the strongest possible team, actively seeks a diverse applicant pool. We also highly encourage immigrants as well as Spanish-speakers to apply.

To submit a general application for our internship program please fill out this form. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. If your profile matches our needs, you will be asked to meet for an interview with staff members.
