We are getting ready for Spring Farmer’s Market! Come join Nest Volunteers to be part of the Upscaling of Feedbags into versatile totes. We are in need of more volunteers for our sewing team. Our washing team has prepped these cut materials and they are ready to be transformed into a tote bag with a new life. Each bag just requires 30-45 minutes to sew. Come pickup a sewing kit of 5 bags (a 3 hour task) or 10 bags (6 hour task). Inquire about instructions or production video.

Description
Nest Academy RVA is a fast growing, emerging non-profit organization, founded in 2020, filling an unmet need in the Richmond Special Needs Community. Nest’s unique mission is to create learning and social environments for young adults with physical and intellectual disabilities. Nest has created an inclusive community for these members and families by adapting various activities and classroom environments for each member to maximize participation in a group environment.
Members of the Nest Thriving Together Program are mostly high school graduates who are typically non-verbal, in wheelchairs and require adaptive environments and tools to engage.
