Lenox Hill Neighborhood House is a 128-year-old settlement house widely recognized as one of New York's premier human services providers. Founded is 1894 as a free kindergarten for immigrant children, the Neighborhood House now serves 16,000 people in need each year through a wide array of effective and integrated services --social, educational, legal, health, housing mental health, nutritional and fitness.
We are seeking volunteers with strong technology skills to provide assistance and support to older adults using our Computer Lab. Volunteers will be stationed in the lab and will help individual participants with tasks such using email and the internet, cell phone functions, word processing, and organizing & managing digital files.
The time commitment for this position is one day per week, Monday, Wednesday or Friday, 3:00pm-4:30pm.
