ORGANIZATION: Fairytale Farm Animal Sanctuary

  • 12 people are interested

We are looking for someone with a calming energy who can regularly visit the sanctuary to spend time with animals who are in need of healing - mind or body.

We have several animals with physical special needs who need extra time and attention - a goat in a wheelchair, a rabbit with a prosthetic foot, a duck with splinted feet. And we have animals who have been through difficult situations or neglected who need lots of time and patience to learn to trust.

Your work could be anything from physically manipulating the legs of an animal re-learning to just quietly sitting and being a gentle presence for an animal who is scared.

Timing is very flexible, but prefer you are able to commit to a weekly visit so the animals can become familiar with you.

Relevant experience is welcome, but not required.

Please also consider volunteering for our May fundraiser event!
