East Ridge Family Learning Centers Homework Cub tutors work one-on-one with children (mostly K-5) on their daily homework assignments. Tutors may coach children as needed and sit and read with them. Saturday and summer weekly events also need volunteers to assist or coordinate activities.

Description
Make a Difference in Your Community!
The RSVP Volunteer Program provides opportunities for individuals 55 and over to make a difference in their community through volunteer service. RSVP volunteers contribute anywhere from a few to over forty hours a week, serving at schools, museums, and other nonprofit and public organizations to help meet critical community needs. RSVP offers maximum flexibility and choice to its volunteers. RSVP matches the personal interests and skills of the volunteer with opportunities to help impact the community. The program offers supplemental insurance while volunteering and training from the agency or organization where volunteers are placed.
