Boulder County Horse Association (BCHA) has been around for over 50 years leaving behind in its wake a positive impact on the equestrian world as it is today. Our mission as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization is to continue to promote, protect, and advocate for the equestrian community of Boulder County through education, recreation, and collaboration. With this mission comes the driving forces behind it; our board of directors and committee members, who have tirelessly volunteered their time for their passion; horses, community, and teaching.

BCHA is seeking a dedicated team player to join our organization in the role of Secretary on the Board of Directors. What's most important is that this role fits your interests and allows you to use your strengths and work with the BCHA team to move our mission forward and bring new ideas and energy to the table. You are an organized person who can multitask during meetings by recording information discussed and join in on the discussion with ideas and suggestions. Come join our organization as the:

  • Board Secretary
    • Record minutes during each board meeting one time per month
    • Write, save, and send out meeting minutes to board members for approval
    • Contribute ideas during meetings to support and grow the organization
    • Coordinate with other board members on information to include in the final minutes report
