Transition House

Join Transition House for Dinner! We are in need of new food service groups that would like to purchase, cook, and serve dinner one night per month at our emergency shelter for families experiencing homelessness.

What does a Transition House Dinner Provider Group look like?

  • Anyone who loves sharing food and serving their community!
  • 3 to 5 volunteers or more if you would like to rotate the volunteers each time you serve
  • Purchase groceries, cook, and plate dinner for 70 adults, teens, and children one night per month from about 4:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
  • Purchase groceries and assemble sack lunches for the following day
  • On-site volunteers must be fully vaccinated and provide proof of vaccination.
  • On-site volunteers must be over 18
  • Choose a regular night to serve dinner:
    • 1st Sunday of Every Month
    • 3rd Sunday of Every Month
    • 4th Sunday of Every Month
    • 1st Monday of Every Month
    • 2nd Monday of Odd Months
    • 1st Tuesday of Every Month
    • 4th Wednesday of Odd Months
