Arrive at 4PM for family meal, gala starts at 6PM
6-7PM, "Register" un-registered guests: Send text via iPad to guests so they can find table numbers & register their credit cards on their phones to donate during the event.
7-10PM, Float on the gala floor, instructing guests on how to use their phones to make donations. Each vol. assigned a small table section, partnered with a greeter volunteer.

Dancing Stars of Atlanta is an exciting benefit for the Alzheimer’s Association, GA Chapter. Reinventing the popular show, "Dancing with the Stars", this fundraising event is comprised of local celebrity dancers who are paired with professional ballroom dancers, to raise dollars by gaining votes! The dancers then come together to compete in a one night gala dance competition. Dancing Stars of Atlanta raises money to support research & programs and services provided for individuals with Alzheimer's disease, their families, and caregivers.
Presently, someone develops Alzheimer's every 67 seconds. Alzheimer's is also the sixth leading cause of death in the U.S. and the only one top 10 disease that is increasing. Without your support, the Alzheimer's Association will cease to aid those who are affected by this devastating disease.
