We are looking for volunteers to join the board of directors! Directors do not need to live in Derry, NH. Directors are the backbone of our nonprofit by providing oversight and strategic direction for the organization. Directors commit to a 3-year term, after which they can choose to commit to another 3-year term. Directors estimate they spend about 10 hours a month on board work which will include reading, emails and meetings. Directors have to join at least one committee - finance, governance or programming and attend the monthly directors meeting which is held on the last Monday of the month at 6 pm.

Description
The Marion Gerrish Community Center is dedicated to providing free meeting space to groups, teams, organizations, clubs and nonprofits. We have senior games groups every weekday as well as once a month senior movie. On the third Wednesday of each month we have WiFi Cafe, a free service to assist with phone, laptop and tablet questions. Our Thrift Shop provides low cost items such as clothing and household goods.
