Mission Statement
The mission of SWB Delivers is to end homelessness and provide financial literacy programs that create wealth in disadvantaged communities.
Description
The mission of SWB Delivers is to end homelessness and provide financial literacy programs that create wealth in disadvantaged communities. Our services include job placement, housing placement, and support services to low-income families. It is our goal to provide affordable housing and support services to families that fall between 20% to 60% AMI by offering rental assistance and homeownership opportunities. In addition, the company will also provide financial literacy and homeownership programs that contribute to financial stability, reducing the percentage of mortgage default. Homeownership maintenance responsibilities and rental assistance funding will also be provided to program participants.
It is our goal to assist 500 homeless households into permanent housing, develop 150 affordable housing units, develop 5 community transitional cabins (space for 200 households). Train and place 200 individuals into jobs within the property management industry. Acquire 25 single-family homes in Minnesota under the veterans housing program initiative and 5 affordable housing communities in Pennsylvania. In addition, provide financial literacy workshops, promote homeownership and legacy wealth. Lastly, collaborate with local nonprofit organizations in our markets to assist them to meet their mission to provide food, shelter and clothing for individuals and families in need.
