Write a Book Foundation needs a PR partner, someone who understands the cathartic abilities of written words. We're looking for someone who can bounce ideas off us and help us articulate our mission and vision through media outlets.
PUBLIC RELATIONS INTERNSHIP Time: 10-15 hours/week || Frequency: minimum of 3 months
Responsibilities:
-Identify opportunities for brand recognition (e.g., radio, TV, newspapers)
-Develop materials for online articles, press releases, and newsletters
-Keep abreast of events and activities occurring at Write a Book Foundation
-Understand and present Planet Rehab’s core mission to external parties
-Coordinate and develop relationships with individuals in radio, TV, and newspapers seeking to showcase Write a Book Foundation in the media (via phone, email, and in-person)
-Develop a strategy to publicize Write Book Foundation’s events and ultimately generate sponsorship potential

Description
Write-A-Book Foundation believes that expressive writing skill is a viable tool for people struggling with anxiety, PTSD, and other mental health concerns. To that end, we will remove barriers to book writing to enable personal and spiritual development and living a purposeful life.
We are advocates of using writing as a therapeutic, personal development, and self-empathy tool. We offer writing support and coaching through our free workshops. Our workshops have served people worldwide.
